Studio Tinker pays homage to the Kuda Lumping cultural dance as the primary inspiration for this year’s CNY—featuring colors that are blazingly vernacular and full of energy and excitement. The dance itself, as a concept, heavily relies on mystical theatricals, with the riders dancing atop crackling embers barefooted while seemingly in a trance—accompanied by the cacophony of traditional beats of gamelan ringing through every strut, gait, and display of magical prowess.
